That's pretty interesting Vato. I've never tried it. I read a post around here somewhere, where something similar was mentioned. Instead of bottom inocculating, a piece of transferred colonized agar was placed in a peroxided agar petri dish. Then, a seperate piece of peroxided agar from a sperate petri dish was placed on top of the newly transferred agar. Essentialy sanwiching the agar transfer between peroxided agar, and allowed to grow out. It did mention something about the agar growing out (and through) the top piece of peroxided agar. I was interested on trying it out, but haven't yet. Bottom inocculating sounds a little less complicated. Maybe I'll try it next time I do some transfers.
