I am going camping with another shroomery member this weekend, gonna take a bunch of acid, ok but anyways, what kinds of things do you guys look for in a camp site? I know i look for awsome scenery and generally an away from it all feel. I havent been camping in forever, any do's and don't from a shroomerite perspective?

close to water. nice flat area. interesting features to explore. access to wood if you plan on building a fire. recommended if it gets cold at night in your area.
I wanna go camping and eat acid...

Yeah those sound like things i look for as well, I am very excited I have never taken acid in a nature enviroment, only at concerts and inside my apt in a city.

Both are possibilites, this is going down in the south so my only worry about camping on someones random land is getting shot by a red neck while im tripping my face off

level sleeping area free of roots or large sharp rocks close to a potable water source easy access to firewood, big logs are a must remote remote remote, the less people the better, none is best close to a good lookout spot to enjoy sunsets/rises and scenery

If it's a campground I suggest somewhere that has lot of hiking/biking trails. Also somewhere that has some space/trees between the spaces.
I know a lot of people recommend a flat camping spot but I've always preferred a slight slop incase of rain. That way there is last chance you'll wind up in a puddle.

Had not thought of that, although I wouldnt mind digging a hole to shit in and then just burning toilet paper or packing it out or what ever, thanks for your idea!

Two key bit of camping equipment:
plastic bags (shitloads - more than you'll need) toilet roll
I cannot stress the important of the above enough.

i just came back from Joshua Tree and learned the above very well ... i remembered everything for my trip except toilet paper and plastic bags, and while my candyflip was coming on (at 2:00 am) I had to take a shit ... bad. not something i could look over.
needless to say i took care of my situation near a bush away from the campsite, using papers from my sketchpad for "support" ... but it wasn't much fun
