are there any dangers from accidentally picking up a poisonous mushroom when trying to test for blue bruising? i noticed, when field testing, i'd get a lot of the mushrooms liquid on my fingers and hand.. not that i put it to my mouth or anything, i'm not THAT stupid.. is it wiser to shroom hunt with gloves? i guess the only real reason why i asked is coz i was feeling kinda dizzy shortly afterwards, wasnt sure if it was because i had nothing to eat that day though...
thanx..

It was because you had nothing to eat. For example you can taste the amanita phalloides, one of the most poisonous mushrooms, and spit it out without any harm.

As long as you dont swallow any poison, you should be okay. It is a common practice of mycologists on mushrooms hunts to taste small pieces of a mushroom, and then spit them out, as a way of in the field identification.
