...USE BUBBLEWRAP/PADDING WHEN SENDING ETHNO SEED IN THE MAIL THREAD...
i just recieved a letter containing a fine powder of bridgesii seed... it came from the US and the sender used no padding at all... so im guessing they were crushed state side... i could be wrong about that...
anyway, do they have a machine to crush stuff? this letter looks like it has been passed through a machine with rollers or something, the outline of the baggie inside is imprinted on the outside of the envelope, on both sides, so it has been pressed VERY hard!
it just fucks me off cos i always use bubblewrap envelopes, it costs a bit more then posting a letter yes, but its gotta be worth it! i'll post some pics of this abortion later...
*end rant*

may as well just turn your seed over to the US government and save the cost of the stamp...

i think any envelope that is moderately flat and doesn't have a fragile stamp on it goes through an automatic sorter which has huge rollers the envelopes get pushed through, hence the seed butter.

That sucks about the seeds, esp if the shipping came from stateside. Hasn't anybody heard of a CD case been sending seeds in em for years.

i never thought of using a cd case i must admit!
mind u, i havent had any problems with packages that i sent out, yet...
have some en route to the states as i write, so if there is any problem with them i shall start using cd cases instead. or stop trading with the US more likely, as its becoming a headache already

my friends always sent/received seeds in bic pens. Never had a problem with them getting crushed, and they never had a package intercepted either

This is an important topic. I can think of at least three times that most, if not all the seeds I received, were crushed. Buy a fucking little padded envelope you cheap fucks!!! :P

look close and u can see the imprint of the baggie seal and the seeds on the envelope...

heres another tip: dont write the name of the seeds on the bag. u could always write something inconspicuous if u really feel the need to write anything at all...

and another bump won't hurt!
i was lucky enough to be on the receiving end for some really well packaged stuff and always sent out all of my stuff in regular envelopes with some paper or bubble wrap around whatever it was i sent, never had problems but i sure as hell don't want any either
the packadge is about 90% of the deal on most trades (spores are not that hard to pack)
