Casing, Spawn, etc. questions...

Ok Ive been searching all night and I just got a few questions.
I got 10 pint jars colinizing. So Im trying to figure out how much casing, substrate, etc. I need.
Now Im confused...Can I just use the casing teks end product as a spawn because thats what seems to be. I was thinking spawn was things like dung and such. Im going to be using a martha setup, so should I use a pint jar per lets say a 1 foot long and wide, 5 or 6 inches deep pan?
Basically its going to be alot of trouble and money that I dont have to get poo. Id have to get pre-pasteurized based on my situation. gf says no dice on poo near stove. So im just trying to figure out if I could just use like the 50/50+ tek casing mix to colonized wbs in pint jars to the pans instead of spawning to horse poo then to casing. Does that make sense? I know its probably a pretty obvious question I just cant seem to get a direct awnser. thanks for your time.

SUBSTRATE is one thing. CASING is another.
10 pint jars of WHAT (PF cakes or wbs/grain)
You add colonized spawn to substrate. Once substrate is colonized. You cover the top of it, with casing.
If you cannot use h/poo / compost as substrate. Check out COIR. Search any of several COIR grows lately.
BTW, who wears pants at your place? Way back, if my GF said that to me. GF would be history.
What you don't know is. Well weather aged h/poo, has almost no odor. Once heated, it can smell a little rich. But, not so bad, an open window & fan will cure it. In a few minutes.

my pint jars are of wbs. I understand now. I live in Kentucky and had a talk with my gf and there are horse and cow farms in all directions. So im just going to go ask for some and say I have a garden. Oh and weve been together for a while and live together so her opinion counts as much as mine.
