CLONING in a hurry?????

Could someone tell me how to clone i have some puerto ricans(pardon spelling)and there pinning outside and i wanna bring them in. is there a way to do this fast? and is there a way to do this without a petri dish. could you give me exact measurments if needed please some one help.

i saw it but it didnt tell me how it only showed the outcome. i think that is the funniest thing ive heard in a long time....good one but seriously some one should help cause the only thing ive done since i posted this is laugh really hard

ill give it a go....
ive heard this works well, but have yet to try it. im gonna try it in a few days.

This is for PFtek jars, but can be used in other teks. Take normal sterility precautions.
K, take a mushroom (preferably a big one, or one that grew fast) and cut the cap off, then take the stem of the mushroom and put it in a blender with about a cup of 1.5% hydrogen poroxid (w/ water). Turn on and off the blender quickly, use a pulse button if you have one on your blender. About 10 pulses should do the trick. Im pretty sure the water will be a blue slurry now, but im not sure. Take this mushroom slury and draw some up into a syringe and inject PF cakes like you would with spores. The colonization process should be faster cause you wont have to wait for germination.

do you mean one cup of 1.5% h202 straight from the bottle or a 1:10 ratio of 1.5% h202 and water. i'd like to try this and i don't want to fuck it up.

Dont want to sound like a dick but the first thing you should do is go out and buy the bible of mushroom cultivation "The Mushroom cultivator" by Paul Stamets. Great book and will help you with your sterile technque.

If you are using the blender then you have to make sure that you dont introduce contams. You do this by slicing the outer layer of the mushroom without touching it. As or the H2O2 (if you want to go that way) You should get the manual "growing mushrooms with H2O2." That way you will have a better idea of the volumes to use in your cloning. If you do use this tek then colonization will be impeded but your chances of contams greatly reduced.
It sounds like by the time you get this post your mushroom you want to clone will be long gone so you should do some reading and be ready for your next chance.
