Minor MV infractions - possible warrant?

This isn't that important, but I'd just like to know...
I had a deadline to show up at the municipal court for two minor motor vehicle infractions. I didn't make it. Considering the court is closed on Saturday and Sunday...how likely is it for them to get a warrant and take me in tomorrow (Sunday)?

As long as you dont get pulled over.
They wont waste time/man hours on such a trivial warrant.

Yeah, I hope not.
Although, the back of the ticket it says that they will issue a warrant if the deadline is not met. Anyways, I'll be up there first thing Monday morning. I just hope they don't come tomorrow...I'll be busy.

Yeah, the police aren't going to go out and look for you. You get pulled over for a minor traffic violation or some shit, however, and you can rightly consider yourself fucked.
Well, I guess if it is mandatory to show up for your scheduled hearing, you might be fucked anyways... I was thinking about if you just had a fine or something, and you didn't pay it by that time, then you could probably just give the fine to the police, as well as more money for them to call off the warrant. I'm not sure how it would work if it was mandatory to appear and you didn't...

Yeah, but it is still better to show up on your own rather than being caught and taken in against your will. They will be more forgiving of a person that forgot and is trying to fix the mistake than of a person that is intentionally trying to avoid their obligation.

In a town I used to live in they would automatically give you a one month extension on motor vehicle infractions, like paying your speeding tickets, before they posted a warrant.

Isn't that a "bench warrant" or something?
