i took a cake that was colonized by spores, crumbeld it and diveded it into 4 jars with some more verm+brf (and water). no sterilization was made in the cloning part..
other cakes were colonized by the same spore syringe and grew great big fruits.

the 4 new jars colonized real fast and in about 4 days they were 100% .
i took the cakes out of the jars about a week after i put them in, dunked them and put in the terranium.

they are in the terranium for 2 weeks and dont show no sighn for knots. i wouldnt post this but they look kinda wierd. evenly fuzzy all over.



i dont understand what did i do wrong... help.

im sorry if this thread shouldnt be in the advanced forum, it just looks as non advanced dont clone for somreason.

Looks like mycellium to me. Mexicubes have been known to fluff up a half inch layer of mycellium and fruit thru it.

The group of PF cakes that I still maintain behave in the same manner prior to 24 hours of submersion in tap water. However, they also fruit.

this aint no contam.it has a strong shroomy smell.
its regular p.cubanisis i forget if its mexican or hawaiian.
all 4 jars look like this.
i dont know what could of coused this.

That could be one of two things. . .

1. Wierd mycelium

2. Mycelium growing with a friend.

Sometimes a contam won't have the typical contam-growth rate, and will grow concurrently with a mycelium culture; If it fruits, I think you'll find out!
