What if you can't get temps low enough for pinning

I can't get my closet cooled down to the low 70's. It stays around 80. I have closed all the vents except that one and it still doesn't get there and the AC is running constantly. I can't fit them in the fridge either and they need to stay in my closet. When i get some cash I might build a box for pinning and put a salvaged fringe compressor on it.

Put casing in fridge for 24 hours, this will cold shock caseing, telling it to pin....also mist with cool water and fan often...and dont use a light bulb, use fluroscent, which gives off less heat.

You really need to get a 10degree drop to initiate pinning. Is your experiment really
" in the closet " so to speak? Maybe you could hide a cooler with ice in it? or even a storage container but you'll have to make some kind of rack to keep them from sitting on the ice especially when it starts to melt. Just an idea.
