Wonderful pieces guys!
I really liked Toddo's, but I ended up going with EntityExperiment's sweet guitar tune. Just the perfect bit of serenity for me...
I'm soo in next round.
And props to Toddo for a great idea!

this was fun. good job to those that did music. my fav was EntityExperiment's guitar tune as well. very calming and i think it fits the picture nicely. good job.

So, when do we officially crown the victor and get on with next week, so I dont have to constantly hang my head in shame at my 0 votes? 
Also..... Im not hating on the picture given, it was a great picture, that had a great duality to it.... was it sunrise.... or sunset? depended on how you felt about it. Most people went with sunrise it seems..... but I hope that every picture/topic isnt going to be a canyon on a sunny day, or a field of sunflowers.
Granted, it is up to the winner to decide, but lets all try to run the gamut (pun!) of emotions/experiences.

I agree completely. I think this picture was GREAT to start the contest off with though.
I think people will have some cool pictures to show that will invoke all sorts of feelings.

I actually really enjoyed your track. And yes, month to month.. the photo should be quite different from the old one. The vote ends this Wednesday.

I like this idea but it is a music, art, AND Literature forum.
I think you should try with a verbal category (sunrise, sunset, forest, etc.) that way we can have music, art, and lit. entrys.
I would deff. enter if I could enter art work or photography.

Maybe not but you might be able to break it into 3 separate categories. That way art and music would be judged separately and if you weren't interested in the art category you could just skip of it.
but it's just an idea.

I was thinking something more along the lines of having the arts, music, and literature having seperate contests, but lets say that the song from the winner of the music contest is the topic for the art/photography contest, and the winner of that contest is the topic for the literature contest, and the winner of that contest is the topic for music...... etc...
or any combination... but that all might be too complicated to pull off and be popular enough for people to keep up with it and participate with entries and voting.

awesome idea. I was thinking along the same lines when I was making this contest. Linking all the forms into a contest. Once this gets some more popularity we can add something else that links to the contest but is in a different art form. As long as we take our time and let every contest grow in itself, I don't see we It wouldn't work. We can have a different art formed contest every couple weeks.

yeah.. it ends Wednesdays. I was planning on just having it at the end of each month. I'm pretty eager to start a new one.. so if everyones down, we could start the new one a bit early.

I'm ready to start another as well, though I won't get around to it until Tuesday(going to be out of town from friday-tuesday). I'll look around for a photo...I'm going to go for something that could have many interpertations. It'll most likely be some sort of abstract art or somethign maybe.

oh it'll be a defined picture for sure, but like I said, it'll probably be interpreted different by different people, which is what will make it so interesting.
Sort of the same as people thinking that it was a sunset or a sunrise on the last one, although this one might have a few other interpretations.
I found a couple I like. Just deciding now.
