Would the nutrients in the ph up and down be bad?

It's not the water you want to adjust, it's the casing material. Use lime.

I know this thread is old as dirt but i was wondering....what about when you prepare water for your flushes wouldnt adjusting the ph of the water be beneficial to maintaining proper ph even if you have lime in your casing. I know mycelium causes ph to drop over time and oyster shell helps as a long term buffer. Would general hydroponics ph up/down work for this or would it hurt it thanks in advance
