It's going to be personal preference. And on top of that, there is a lot of doubt whether or not strain makes any difference at all.

In my opinion, it does. In others, it does not.

With that said, I really enjoy the Texas strain, as well as the Cambodian strain. Not to forget B+, Golden Teacher, Gulf Coast, Malabar, PES Amazonian, etc...

Basically, every strain I've come across I have enjoyed.

It doesn't really matter since you're going to trip regardless of which strain you grow.

Believe me, there is no doubt that the strain can make a huge difference. Here in Holland, strains of Cubensis sold in shops range from Mexican (weakest) to Ecuadorian (Strongest), and there is a huge difference between them.

So to put those I know in order of strength from weakest to strongest:

Mexican
Thai
Colombian
Ecuadorian
Hawaiian (EXTREMELY strong, but they are not Cubensis, but instead Cyanescens, which are apparently VERY hard to grow)

Thers no such thing as a hydroponic shroom, who the fuck started this?  PES hawaiian is strictly a mindfuck, no visuals unless you eat them wet. Allen strain made me think i was the devil for a few weeks, and i honestly dont see how I thought Up the shit I saw, I only at 1.3, a low dose:confused:(tripped like 100+ times).

Yes I was just playing... I mean look at the way I typed that post... you think I'd have nearly 2k posts (and not be banned) if I typed / acted like that...

I've found that columbians and argentinians (p. cubes) are the most potent I've grown.
I recently had a high yeild of mexicans and was pretty disappointed as far as their potency went.

People always say a cube is a cube...i disagree, and i know hundreds of people around the local area that will back me up.

Penis Envy > *.cube

Most people will take a gram and get stronger effect than if they ate 3.5 grams of the other strains going around town (GT's, B+, AMZ's, and EQ's that I know of). Maybe it is how they are grown, but they are the best mushroom time after time no matter when they come around town.

It's most likley growing conditions,gram-1.5 of any strain my cat has grown does the trick,with most of the strains you mentioned at that.

So far I haven't experienced that many. I've only cultivated and tried. Golden teacher, Ecuador, Hawaiian, and mazatepec. Up until last night Ecuador was my favorite in terms of yield and effects. Last night I ate 3.5 grams of Hawaiian 3 grams fruits and half gram aborts. I had the most intense profound experience of my life. Up until last night "freaking out" was just a term. When my tea hit I had about 15 minutes of light visuals before I was creamed by what felt like a Mac truck going full speed. I went very close to the edge I had about a 10 minute bout of getting my shit together before things started to improve. Had I not been VERY experienced with mushrooms and psychedelics in general a 8th of those little Hawaiian bastards would have done me in. It's gonna take the next few days if not the next week to re integrate and understand what all happened and what all I learned. I did the same amount of fruits and aborts Christmas eve of ec. And it was profound but not nearly as serious as this was. I was FULLY enveloped in psychedlia in every which direction and sense of the word. VIVA HAWAIANS!

Yea, I'm sure you could get just about any cube to be pretty potent. With its preferred growing conditions and some good luck with genetics i'm sure its possible to get some good potent mushrooms from just about any cube. 

Some cubes do seem to be better/more forgiving etc. But again i think it just depends on the conditions it likes best and those pesky genetics.

Also, PE does seem to hold quiet the reputation though. I have yet to eat/cultivate the specimen.

well, to be fair, this thread reminded me i have a freebie syringe of PES hawaiian lying around that i haven't tried yet. (from mentioning being a shroomery member in the order special notes.) is it really more potent than a normal cube strain? o.O and is it really not a cube but p cyan? the syringe is labed cubensis PES hawaiian so now i'm confused if there's two hawaiians.

curious if maybe i should be starting another grow with em alongside my penis envy uncuts for superpotent cubes. :rofl:

So the Pes Hawaiians(cubensis) are different that a variety whats called Panaleous Cyanescens "Hawaii", Or Pan Cyan for short which are noticeably more potent but different growing measures than cubes. If you've got PEU going you should be good but deff look into Pan Cyan . -TheLostBoys
