Can you get your pictures off of your cameral phone on to your pc, or are they trapped?
    #6632333 - 03/03/07 07:07 PM (16 years, 11 months ago)

Im curious,

of those of you with camera phones, how many of you have great pictures on yore camera, that you just cant get on your computer. for whatever reason, be it lack of cables, software, or adapters.

I know that i have had soo many great pictures and videos on my cell phone that i could never get off of there, and that died when i either lost the phone or broke it.

Doesn't your phone have a USB port? I thought most of them did.

I have a nokia n80 that uses mini-sd cards, it also came with a usb adapter and I can use bluetooth connectivity to transfer files so I don't really have much of a problem in that field. On my older phones I did, just had to let those pics slide into history with the handset.

blue tooth is the way to go if yer phone supports it. most laptops
should already have it or you can buy a usb bluetooth antenna fo 20
bucks. good to make ring tones too.

I use a mini-d sub to usb cable (common cable, already had one when I got the phone) to transfer files from my phone to my PC. I could email them but Im a cheap bastard so I dont use the internet on my phone. I could use my phones blue tooth but Im a cheap bastard and dont want to buy additional equipment for my PC. It all depends on what phone you get.

EDIT: and as a bonus the mini-d charges my phone when its plugged in

My phone has bluetooth, but I don't know how to use it properly, so all my pictures are trapped.  :frown:

I have some really neat ones, too.

You're a moderator in an internet forum. I am certain that you can learn to use the simple technology of a Blue Tooth.:)
