What can cause this to happen?

In a large 29 gallon terraium, lined with geolite and 2 long tube bubblers, there are 3 cakes. 2 of the cakes have pins, and they are very thin and long. Upon inspection tonight, I noticed one of the shrooms had broken its veil and it is way too small. Subsequently, it did not sporealate. The rest of the pins look the same as well. I did up until tonight have my flourescent light close to the lid of the container, and I do notice that the rye berries look very dry. During the time the lights are on I do notice the temp in the fruiting chamber climbs from 72 to 76?F. Was I cooking the tops of the cakes with the light being so close? Does lack of humidity cause thin pins and or small fruits? The terraium has 3 cakes total, and the third one is fluffy and looks nice, but no pins yet.

People don't want other people to get high, because if you get high, you might see the falsity of the fabric of the society we live in.

You got rye cakes? Could be not enough water in them.

A few other things like not enough air exchange or humidity isint high enough, but I would have to say they were just dry.

Trying putting perlite insted of berries. Perlite helps with humidity
