Upside-down cakes???

Alright, I know I'm on a role here for posts in the last five minutes, but if my cakes have been upside down for two weeks in the terrarium, should I flip them over? I'm only asking because the cake is healthy with no pins yet, and I'm not sure what the best sollution is... I just don't wanna hurt them!

No I think I phrased that wrong, my cakes were birthed wrong-side-up. Should I flip or leave alone?

I think i may have a similar problem. My cakes have been fully colonized for about 4 weeks and have been birthed for 3 with good conditions. origianly i just fliped the jar up side down to slide the cake out. i then just left them upside down. I only did two jars so i just now fliped one right side up and left one upside down just to see what happens

Congratulations, right forum this time.
vatoloco's right, leave them alone, be patient.

I only ask cuz they are in a terrarium (completely dark) with a tiny red light that blinks on and off. This things seriously the diameter of a tooth pick. I don't know if that would be enough- but i see what you're saying, I'll just trial and error with all those factors.

Alright thanks for the tip Vatoloco. Would a push light (you know those one's that have like a 4in radius) work if i secured it on the cieling of the terrarium? Or is that too much?

Vato, I have to disagree with you on this one. According to the Mushroom Cultivator, P. Cubensis: Prepinning = total darkness Primordia formation = Diffuse natural or exposure for 12 - 16 hours/day of grow lux type fluorescent light Cropping = same as above.
In my copy this info is on page 198 - 199. Growth Parameters.
You're completely right about the blue spectrum though.
