Thousands of these things all over *pics*

When i was at school today i saw tons of these things all over on the lawns. Didnt pick any there. When i got home i figured id be able to find some. Well i look out the front door and i have already spotted tons. These things are all over in the grass.

I think they are foenesci or somthing. Would this be a sign that the pann subbs are probably up too? Has anyone really even found pann subbs in ohio?

They are definately some sort of pan. Take a print just to be sure, if its black, then they're pans. They look like they could be an active species but I'm not sure. Wait for further ID.

they are not active. if they where i could prolly have pounds and pounds of em if i just walked thru the neighboorhood.

Every yard with decent looking grass has them.
