Where did I go wong???

Last night I made some birdsed jars. Followed dethheads birdseed tek to the dot! When I come down this mrning to inoculate the birdseed it is all stuck togther inside the jars. I shook it up but it is just one giant mass that will not break up. what did I do wrong???

It?s allways a good idea to shake the birdssed while still hot(or at least very warm).
Perhaps you also used too much water.

I always rinse my birdseed and shake the jars after PC'ing. I don't let them sit very long after PC'ing. But maybe you added too much water. But however some birdseed if not rinsed turns into a gluey mess cause of the seedcoat.

well mine looks to have a gluey texture to it when it slides down the jar LoL but I washed the seed before I put it in the jars so I could get all the SS out. Any thing else? I really don't want to do BRF so I need t get this birdseed thing to work
