Well today i was so excited when riding my bike through a parking lot and spotting a very bright yellowish orange stipple of mushroomy shaped across my eyesight. ..this is what i saw!
[image]http://shroomery.org/forums/files/060202-33/6513-Gymno47[/image]
I am awaiting 1 dozen spore prints of this psychoactive Shroom and am putting them up for Sale at my all new website www.southfloridashroombase.com -I havent sold any of these prints yet but we hope that people start to take interest in this wonderful woodloving mushroom!
Keep on shroomin And the luteofolius at the new patch seem much more potent and twistier of stems. Also more of the color blue/green/blue on the stems.
They dont taste too bad at all, though i only ate all the stems -- Yes, they are definately more potent than i expected them to be hee hee

It works if you just copy and paste to a new webpage. They look pretty cool. How was the trip?

Hello -
I do not understand why my pictures wont display.
I ate 1 large mouthful of stems-only
i was surprised when my girlfriend also ate several of the caps. She doesnt much like eating blue meanies or the golden teacher mushrooms, -because the potency of those two mushrooms can be too overwhelming for such a delicate little organism as annie.
She likes the gymnopilus luteofolius, so do i.
There are also a couple other gymno-Shroom species that have been recorded to grow in Florida. We talked earlier about making plans intending to search for these other gymno's this coming Shroom season just upon us.
Support our website www.southfloridashroombase.com and buy a print or two, thanks.

Awesome GG!! I've been checking the woodchips lately in hopes of finding this one. Nadda so far. I have a nice gymno specto patch that I will takes pic of when it fruits this fall. The spectabilis I found a few years back stained a definite green/blue.
What are the effects of this mushrooms like, anything unique about the trip, or just classic psilocybin intoxication? How potent compared to cubes, what kind of weight do you consume to feel effects of this mush??
Take care, and sorry for not getting back to your PMs, I have been extremely busy with work and all kinda od legal troubles this past month. I'll respond to your messages tonight.

Sounds great lizard, yes please respond to my PM when you have a extra moment.
Also, i do not have any pic's of this, but the luteofolius caps when they are babies are a very beutiful purple. Then as they mature and expand the mushrooms show beutiful yellows and oranges...
They are mildly potent...i have ingested them about 4 times. The trip is definately different than other Shrooms.
Take care dude, gg

Hello Urbanater,
I find these mushrooms here in Sarasota Florida. -southwest coast of the state.
The mushrooms grow from beds of mulch that have water sprinklers.
Bee careful with luteofolius, there are some vague look-a-likes that i have seen out there.
The effects are just like other shrooms but Gymnopilus definately has its own character of sorts
Keep on shroomin, GG

wow, what a blast from the past.
i was refering to 'spore prints'
and i used to smoke insane amounts of good quality cannabis, so this post is a blast from the past.
a couple summers in a row i lived near downtown where lots of great woodchip patches were within biking range and i found about a dozen different species of Gymnopilus mushrooms in one season.
there are better posts of these shrooms, and its a trip because in this one im actually talking about eating them LOL
keep shroomin GG
