jar storage?
    #661873 - 06/04/02 04:45 AM (21 years, 3 months ago)

ok, i just moved into a new apartment, and i recieved a letter yesterday saying my new place was going to be sprayed for bugs. my roomate and i figured that bug spray probably shouldn't be in contact with 6 fully colonized cakes so we put them in a cardboard box and seald them in a trash bag which we sprayed with lysol. will this be ok for the cakes for a day or less?

thanks

are they bombing your house or spraying it. If they are spraying it, that would be fine. If they are bombing your house, thenI hope it will keep your jars protected

Sounds good while in the plastic bag. I would keep a nose out for the smell of the spray and whether or not it lingers around the apartment. I would keep in mind that depending on your jar setup, the fact that your jars breathe, and the atmosphere you provide could harm them, especially if there is nasty pesticides in the air.
