PES Hawaiian - Opinions? Experiences?

Hey everyone I was just wondering what peoples opinons are on the strain PES Hawaiian? Both in respect to growing and tripping. Also, what does PES mean? I really have no idea about this strain, I recieved them through the FSR along with some B+ and Gulf Coast. Opinions?

I grew them out on brf/verm. and then cased with coco coir. The trip to me was really crappy. All it did was give me a good body buzz and some audio distortions and that was about it. No visuals or mind trip at all. It is probally b/c they were grown out on brf/verm. though, b/c some people here say that they are great if grown out on other substrates. I know im not going to try them again untill I try them on a different substrate which means that I need a pc which I doubt i'll be getting any time soon. They do look cool though, probally the best mushroom that i've seen yet.

My PES Hawaiian PF cakes generally germinate and colonise slower and the mushrooms give a less enjoyable trip compared with B+.

There's nothing wrong with brf and verm, they grow just fine and are really nice. Visually and looks. SO you need to get yourself a better setting and mindset.

PES Hawaiians are the shit man! It?s defiantly one of my favorites out there. Nice big fruits and plenty of them! I've only tried them on Rye cased in a 50/50+, but i would think they would be great grown on anything else!

Without telling us your dose size I think it's a little difficult to judge the strain based off your experience with them. Everybody's metabolism is different too...you might need 7 grams to really enjoy them whereas I might only need 5.

I'm growing some right now, I think their beautiful mushiez!
As for the trip, I ate about 2 grams. Did not trip much besides the floor melting for a couple minutes. Music was amazing and deep thoughts and a overall happy and zoned out feeling. I'm going to up the dose on my second flush.

Just got done working with PES Amazonian. It was a great syringe..all 7 jars colonized quickly. Fruits were great even though my set up was not up to par. IME cubes are very forgiving when grown on BRF Cakes.

PES=Pacifica Exotica Spora. My understanding of PES is that they were a spore vendor who sold "exotic" strains of spores gathered from (you guessed it) the tropical regions of the Pacific Ocean. They sold prints of gorgeous Cubensis mushrooms pulled right from Earth's most beautiful and loving environs. PES is no more, but their legacy lives on, so good were their naturally sorted genetics.

isolate? from my understanding you take a sample like you would cloning and keep isolating from dish to dish till you find what? a dish that grows more aggressively then the others?

Isolating is done so that you can trap certain characteristics.
Some people like to isolate ropey rizomorphic myce cause it grows faster and that where fruit bodies typically develope. when two spores start to grow toward each other they will combine to make a second type of ropey myce. But a clone is already isolated down pretty good as it is

Yeah, I want to know how much dried PES people take.
I tripped off 2g's cambodian and weed, for at least an hour literally tripping, visuals and stuff but no mind fuck just awake for hours after.
and then I read people tripped for awhile off 2 grams PES Hawaiian here and now people say you have to take more?

Mix of PES/Plantasia/GT. about 2grams dry. Just a mix of them all, cant really say how the PES was alone.
fuck all the details right to it.
just chomped them down with some oj and waited about almost an hour. Started to notice that everything looked fucking hdmi and bright as hell, I layed down and started swaying my arms back and forth back and forth back and forth for about 15 to 20 min idk i was not really paying attention to time at this point. I got mild trace visuals of my arms just swaying back and forth, started to stare at the wall and the more I would focus on in the more detail i would see.( you guys ever trip and see like patterns between all the dots on your ceiling?) thats what i mean haha!!
After staring at the ceiling for a little i noticed this baby spider walking across some rice i had on the table for drying some pins i had. Have no idea how I noticed this thing, it was so fucking small it was transparent. My eyes focused so much on this tiny spider that i could see every detail and i just watched it walk across all the rice and do its spider thing. I get a sudden thought to kill it and burn it with my lighter, so i do and i got a rush of emotions. Feeling so bad for the loss of its life, I felt terrible that I took the spiders life away and ended him so young.
I was actually on the Shroomery and a couple members gave me suggestions on music to jam out to and what not. someone told me to listen to throbbing gristle hahahaha!!! (but overall it was fun, love mushrooms and how they can make you feel, just could not fall asleep for the life of me haha)
Hopefully someone has a more experience to tell us!

This thread will be around for the holidays this year.
-------------------- "Psilocybin is one of the most active, and least toxic of all psychedelics. It could very well be the most perfect psychedelic!
No complex chemicals, special equipment or knowledge of chemistry is needed to grow psilocybin mushrooms at home. Given the spores, all that is needed to grow them is a little bit of grain, some chalk, a pressure cooker and a few mason jars.
With these simple supplies, growing your own organic trips at home is about as difficult as a seventh-grade science fair project"

Good to know - I'm about to inoculate some BRF jars 1/2 pints and then into a HFC coco coir.

It's my first time with PES Hawaiian. I inoculated six jas. The jars colonized quickly enough and completely. I may have birthed them just a little early as they didn't have pins quite yet. They've been out in two different types of fruiting chamber for 7 days. I won't bother with the unusual set up of one fruiting chamber as it is just me experimenting. If it works well i'll come back and update later. The SGFC hasn't pinned after 7 days though. I'm a little concerned but hoping I just need to have patience and keep following the tried and true method and that will start to see them produce withing the next week. I've been misting 3-4 times a day and the temp is about 70*F with mid 90's humidity.
