ok i must fix my humidity. I have cool mist and everything gets way to wet.

My timer only has 16 settings, so it runs for like 30 mins and off an hour to make a full 24 hour cycle.

If i turn this down to 10-15 then it ends up off for like 4-5 hours.

Anyways, I was looking at this

after setting that up is there a way to mod it so that it could turn your humidifier off when it reaches 85-90 and then to turn it back on at 75-80?

Im not even sure if this will fix my problem either.....it seems like my cool mist has to coat my entire place with water droplets before my humidity goes up......and then i end up with jars full of water and mold everywhere.

you happen to know how well these work? im considering getting the thc-1, but it is pretty expensive. the other route i would guess would be a fancy timer but they can get expensive as well.

Scroll down that page to the pre-wired humidistat. The timers also work well. I have two of the cycle timers. The humidistat works well until you have a major spore dump, which will ruin it inside. I've never been able to clean one out and get it working again. Either always pick before a bad spore release, or use the cycle timer.
