This is a Brugmansia (Angel's Trumpet), probably the Brugmansia arborea commonly sold at garden centers, or some hybrid thereof. They're just as active and deadly as Datura, however...

meaning what? i have no interest in ingesting these things, i am interested in them strictly for a garden plant, like all my other plants. i don't eat any of the many "magical plants" anymore. they are all a part of my home, not body if thats what your getting at.

Brugmansia are very beautiful and are great house plants. I think the best way to get a plant would be to see if there are any shoots coming up and take one of those.. Of cause this is only if it isn't potted.

so don't be suprised how many deadly plants are near you. i know we have some EXTREMELY toxic, far moreso than any brugs/datura, plants near our place. I plant everything like this on the 3rd floor deck, so no animals or idiots are able to touch.
despite being a "demon" you can honestly say they are not one of the most beautifull flowers going?

The plant can give you nightmares if it's within smelling distance (ie in your bedroom). I thought it was just coincidence until I read about it somewhere on the internet. After I read that I planted it in the backyard and the nightmares stopped.
