A touch of experiance. Almost no overlay this time around(tray2)
Bulk Neglect. Hardly any work but alot of results.

I?m glad it?s working. Bulk really can be a lot less complicated than a lot of people make it. Of course in a much better controlled environment you may have gotten a much better pinset regardless of the multiple strains. But the point is that you will get lots of fruits and didn?t have to do a whole lot of work or spend a whole lot of money.
That goo is the exact stuff I?ve seen plenty of times, but I must admit I?ve never seen it on a casing layer like that. I used to see it on the substrate layer before it was cased, or maybe a little along the edge of a tray if the casing was thin there, but never across the middle of a casing like that. Just shows how much mileage may varry I suppose.
To answer your question about sprinkling coir, you can, and it won?t cause rot. You don?t want to put a heavy layer on, because it will be succeptible to contam until it colonizes. Thin layers colonize so fast that it wouldn?t be a problem. But, I don?t think I?d recomend that unless you had a very shallow casing layer to begin with. Just wait until you harvest, you?ll want to put a thin sprinkling of new coir on then anyways to repair the damage caused by harvesting and keep overlay in check.

Mycofile, Bulk Neglect is one in a million. I cant tell you how happy I am w/t results. After work today(3am) I will post pics. Some mushies are ready to harvest. I counted 207 mushies, thick as my thumb, & 3-5in?s tall. They are true monsters. Im looking at a gigantic harvest- enough for 1 year!!! & thats only the first flush!!
I plan to sprinkle some coir tonight- a very fine layer- around the mushies & over harvested barren spots. I have to go by micheals asap. They sell silicia gel. For a drying chamber a garbage pale has plastic trash bag wrapped aroun

17.5oz wet harvested but thats only 1/3 of first flush.
The Middle is pinning very uneavenly. Mushies are about 1in tall in middle while sides are pushing the limit. I harvested the big mushies- but sadly some small ones were attached. A total of 53 caps & roughly 20 aborts are harvested. Tonight I will follow up w/t more pics. Cheers!!!

First Flush is complete:
Estimated Dry Wieght: 7-8oz?s
Caps: 235 harvested (only counting mushies larger then 3in)
average height: 6-8in?s
Largest Mushie: easily over 10in?s
Potency: The best I?ve had- 5caps put me w/t ease at level 4.
Mushies were harvested over a 24hr period. Also, I harvested Two heaping handfulls of aborts. The strain is Pes Haw..A multiSpore was used & to my suprise yielded an overwhelming amount of mushies. I actually was sweating during harvest, running out of room space to dry mushies. None of this would have been possible w/o the help of fellow shroomenites. A special thanks to
