As you can see... there is yucky green stuff. Normally this would be in the can asap.
But here's my dilema... sure it's got yucky green stuff... but the mycellium seems to be taking over the yucky green stuff. I've got a case of jars like this and every time I check it, there is more mycellium and less green.
Think I should throw it out or proceed?

I had a whole batch of jars infected from the time they first germinated. I let the yellow contam do what it had to do (left 'em alone). I had nothing to lose. It turned out that the mycelium won the battle for the nutrients in the end. The shrooms aren't real prolific on the cakes I didn't throw out (I tossed most of the jars --it's just a fluke that I salvaged three cuz' I forgot about 'em and one day I looked in a garbage can and saw 'em with pins growing) but I'm still getting flushes (4th approximately) and the shrooms were real good

I probably should throw them out but it's just a pain in the ass 'cause that's 12 jars that's going down the can.
I'm gonna see what's gonna happen next.
That and I'm too lazy to clean the jars.

No disrespect man, but why are you growing shrooms if it`s too much effort to
a) clean your jars
b) throw away contaminated gunk.
