Clarification on innoculation / incubation

Hey everyone
I am just wanting some clarification on innoculation of the jars.
Ok, so at the moment, I have my sterilised jars. PF substrate till 1 inch from the top, then a layer of dry verm to the top. Three holes in each lid. Tinfoil covering lids still from sterilisation.
So, when I innoculate, I take off the tinfoil, but am I supposed to put it on again after injecting the spores? Or do I just leave it with them off?
Also, are the lids supposed to be screwed on all the way? (Tight)

I'ts best but you probably wont need it since you put a whole inch of dry verm. on top. I think 1/4-1/2 inch is plenty.

I have never had many problems with the pf jars becoming contaminated. For fast colonization, pull the foil off, inocculate, and leave the foil off for gass exchange. Use filter disks for superfast colonization if you can get'em. The only chances for contams are if you don't sterilze thourghly or if you get your syringe dirty.

By the way, it's not 'supposed' to be 4 holes per jar, you can do it with one, for reduced contamination chances, some do it with 2 but I chose 3 because then you still get the all-round spread but with 25% less interference with the jar's environment.
