Heard the story of the bitter woman; (Baby-sitting a kid…) walking at the beach?
    #6553450 - 02/11/07 07:08 AM (17 years, 23 days ago)

She was walking there, and a huge wave came and took the kid to sea... ...she was afraid to the bone, and got down on her knees and prayed to all she knew to pray to, for the returning of the kid…

Then came a second huge wave that left the kid back on the beach…

The bitter woman looked with anger to the sky, and said: The kid had a hat on...

--------------------

It is REALLY just a matter of how one choose to look at it.
It is ALWAYS good & evil!

Just depending on the individual view...

It was a miracle that the kid was returned, but she chose to focus on the negative still…

BTW: I heard this one on a Dr. Phil – Show, I think…

Maybe it's the concept that for some people it's just never enough.

Or maybe it was lost in translation grom Gompian to our more familiar language.

I can think of funnier

jewish moms aren't happy unless their house guests are full.. and

a funnier joke IMO is..
"would you like some bread with that?"

...could be more of an jew inside joke tho lol

You're saying she is focusing on the negative, which apparently is that the boy is wearing a hat after she prayed for his return.

Why does that hat make the woman angry?

It's the absence of the hat that makes her angry.

Maybe the bitter woman had learned her lesson,
and was really angry at herself for not asking for the boy AND his hat back....

Perspective, perspective....

(The joke-media usually changes these stories up to sensationalize them anyways)....
