Timetable for casings help needed
    #658711 - 06/02/02 08:02 AM (21 years, 6 months ago)

I have looked around online as well as searched here on the shroomery and I cannot seem to find a timetable of the cycles related to actual casings/growing shrooms.

Does anyone know somewhat accurate estimates of when things are supposed to happen? such as hyphal knots, primordia, actual fruits etc

A perfect example of this time table is with PF tek jars everyone says youll see mycelium in your jars within 3-7 days roughly, more if conditions are a lil off.

So for casing from the time you case till the mycelium breaks the surface id say takes 3 days-5days. Whats about from the point it breaks the surface how long till hyphal knots????

How long from hyphal knots to pins?

etc

Does anyone have anything like this.... It really would help people like myself.

This may help you:

Primordia formation: 74-78 deg, 95-100% Rh, 1-3 fresh air excahnges per hour, 12-16 hrs light, 6-10 days

Cropping: 74-78 deg., 85-92% Rh cased, 92-96% Rh uncased, 1-3 fresh air exchanges per hour, 12 hrs of light, every 5-8 days

Some of these numbers I don't agree with but they were the only thing that I could find in writing on the net for you. If you want to see them for yourself go here... http://www.shamamshop.net/inoc.htm It's about half way down the page in a chart titled Conditions for successful mushroom cultivation.

Hope this helps.
