Hearty strain work on Pan cyans

There has been much work done by people on this board and in other areas on breading and isolating very hearty strains of cubs. Some strains seem to be able to handle some very poor cultivation skills and still be relatively prolific. It seems to me that the next logical step would be to do the same for Pan cyans. Is anyone working on this? I am sure some here will say that this isn't needed if the cultivator just learns better skills. That may be true to a point but a hearty pan cyan strain would help people with the learning curve of going from cubs to pans.
I am also curious if it is possible to breed a strain of pans to need less manure and or to fruit on birdseed or some other easier to acquire sub straight.

Sure, lots of us have isolated pan strains. It's a bit harder because pans don't grow rhizomorphic mycelium, so you don't look for the traditional mycelium.
A shortcut method would be to inoculate as many jars as you can with multispore inoculation. Each jar will settle down with a particular set of genetics(strain). Spawn each one to a different tray of manure, and clone the best fruits from the best producers. RR

LC should only be made with isolated, proved fruiting strains. I hate the current fad of squirting spores into sugar water, because it's such a crapshoot. RR
