simple "stir plate" question.

At target I saw this little pin, that was also a fan. The ones with an electric motor. So what I was thinking was, if I just cut off the fins and super glue one off those silver color super magnets that are pretty small and put a paper clip in the jar, then turn the little fan magnet on and put up to the jar it would spin the paper clip. I would just hold the magnet pen stirrer up to bottom of the jar for 5 mins like 3 time a day.

Would it work?

The only problem I could think off is that the fan might not spin fast enough to get the LC to do that tornado thing you see in so many pics. But I can't see how it would be any worse then a marble or broken glass and stirring it by hand, right?

Mucho thank yous,

Every thing I type is a figment of my skitso dreams, I have never actually done any of the things I may type about, nor will I ever do them.

I don't remember when it was that I fell asleep. It must of been long long ago. I don't remember for what time I set my alarm clock, I'm not sure how long I've been dreaming now. But I guess thats whats important, that I am dreaming. I think I want to wake up, but I am never sure. I just hope I will remember this dream when I do, I just hope I will remember who I was, this little bug on earth.

Most likely, it would run out of 'horsepower' to get the job done. A stirrer is effective when used 24/7. If you don't have a real stirrer, just agitate the jar several times per day by twirling it around in your hand or shaking, if you can do so and keep the filter dry.
