Floating cakes?

i popped out one of my brf cakes yesterday to dunk. i put it in the water and its just floated on top, so i figured id just give it till tomorrow to absorb some water. But i looked at it this morning and its still floating there.

what should i do?

you've got to use something to hold it under water.. like a metal screen or something like that..

yes, it's normal for the cake to float.
