Drink more water. A hangover is nothing more then a lack of water(dehydrated) the chemcial reactions needed to break down alcohol take a tremedous amount of liquids. On the mushroom side...yes they technically dehydrate you aswell..some people get it worse then others, some none. Next time drink more water and keep your body hydrayted. just my 2 cents..works for me

take 600 mg ibuprofen
eat some good food

Yep,
you could try some 5-HTP, to boost your serotin levels, which get depletd after a shroomin'...the 5-htp is an herb, found in health food stores, one 50mg capo will do ya.
a good strong cup of coffe, and a tylenol always helps!

Is your seratonin actually depleted after shrooming? I thought psilocybin temporarily acts in place of seratonin, but doesn't actually affect your seratonin levels..

Thats a good question. I have heard that it DOES deplete serotonin, and I have heard It FEELS like it does.
Either way, popping a 5-htp tab is not harmful, and helps with the edgeyness I experience after a trip.

I am NOT a doctor, I just play one on TV.

no i do not believe that mushrooms deplete seritonin levels. they only act on the receptors, not on the amount of the chemical itself
but what do i know..

Hmm.. well from my personal experience I wouldn't be surprised if it does actually.. I mean after a trip I do get headaches occasionally and it's not from dehydration. It could be because it relaxes all your muscles and so you get strained when you're sitting up or something.. but I also sometimes get a pain behind my eyes.. hmm.. dont know I'll try 5-htp next time nearing the end of my trip.. at that sudden change-over from total mental clarity to tired dullness..
