I didnt TRIP from my shrooms I ate last night

Yesterday I ate 3 good-sized, mature, golden teachers that I picked fresh from the casing. I ate the stems and the caps. The caps were about 2" in width. I dint get any buzz at all! Just a little tingle in my eyes and a bit dizzy. Im disappointed to say the least. How many of these things do I need to eat to get a trip? At this time I don't have a scale so how many should I take? I'm going to dry all my shrooms from now on and weigh them before eating. I feel as thou I wasted 3 good shrooms.

I would recommend to dry your mushrooms. You have to eat alot more when they are fresh.

Until that time I dry all my shrroms, how many fresh shrooms, or grams of fresh shrooms, should I eat for a good trip?

Yeah dry your shrooms. I get a great trip off 2 grams dried.

If he just dried the three shrooms and ate just those, that's just going to be even less potent.

Just try to eat a little more next time, figure out what you need to do the trick. Don't go shoving a ton down your throat because this first time didn't work, after all going into a level 5 trip without expecting it wouldn't be good. Since we don't know how much they weighed we can't really say how many you would need to get you to trip (or how many a normal person would need at least).

Or maybe you just suck at growing.

eat an ounce wet for a good dose or 3.5 grams dry

I would say maybe 30 grams, unless it's your first trip maybe.

I think I did pretty good for a first timer! I made 8 1/2 pint jars and SEVEN of them are fruiting using the PF TEK. The spores I purchased came from a reputable firm that was touted here. So what else does one need to do any better???? LOL

It doesn't matter if they are wet or dry. The only reason you have to eat "more" is because they contain 90% water. I like fresh ones better anyway but this is a preference.

If you have three wet shrooms that way, say, 35g. Those would roughly dry out to be 3.5g. You are still eating the same number or shrooms. It's kinda like saying that a 1g shroom ground up weighs less because the pile of ground shrooms look smaller than the shroom itself.
