they no laugh at me, the only time i drive is back and forth to the gym, which is about 4 miles from my house.. so the gas station sees me once every 3-4 weeks... not to mention its a small V6 so the mileage is still pretty good.

I rarely ever see snow, once every few years or so. When it does ice over, there is this huge empty parking lot close to my house, and I drive out there and slide around all over the place... it's a blast! It also gives me some experience as to how my car handles on a slick surface. I've only been in one freaky incident with ice and that was over a highway overpass that had slicked over, and I hit it too fast and started drifting, and this truck had also lost control and we came close to colliding. I don't like the cold much, I'll take mild winters any day. I could never see myself living in the north US or Canada.

I hate driving in this shit!
I had a similar iced road driving experience.
Was driving back from Columbus to Cleveland. All highway. It was really cold and sort of rain/snowing.
Driving along, all of a sudden we hit a big ice patch and do several really crazy 360s, avoid the highway divide wall, 180 over to the other side and fly off the road into a ditch.
It was fucking nuts.
Then while sitting there waiting for the tow company to pull me out, this BMW comes flying off the road and up over the guard rail. Totaled that car. My passenger and me run over to check on those people(they were fine) and another fucking car comes flying off the highway and narrowly misses my ditched truck. Whew! that was an intense few minutes on the highway.

All I can say to those pictures is...
You fools can keep that shit. I'll take my gorgeous San Diego weather any day. Maybe this weekend I'll brave the winter chill and go surfing without my wetsuit just to mock you guys!!
