Ive looked at countless photos of psychedelic cacti, but have yet to be able to discern them from your average mescaline free cacti. A few people have told me that the only way to know for sure is to have already had some experience with the cacti.
Anyway, I just wanted to know if you could share some of the distinguishing features of t. peruvianus?

I purchased what Im pretty sure is San Pedro or Peruvian Torch at K-mart today. one is a small 4" cactus that I got for $1.99 the other was a very large specimen for more money but not nearly as much as it would cost from the internet. Ill post some pics some time this week. Im happy.

no, not like deathcaps.

but their are some sickening poisons in some cacti. nothing you ever want to consume.

really, you wouldnt want to consume that little cactus either. Theres a good possibility that it has no useful alkaloid content, but will still make you vomit

Not trying to threadjack. But how much cactus do you need to trip with? I'll probably never grow peyote just because of how slowly they grow, and it would probably take years to get a good trip. If these are similar I'll leave them alone.
