the first 4 are from the same box and the the last pic is from another box i set on at exactly the same time and they are right next to each other. i´ll let the pics speak for themselves, any1 no whats happend?

light source for the first week was nuthing much when they started to come out the light in my room and the window but not a great deal amount of light enters through the window. they are just normal plastic storage boxes that i have used before in the same way. do they need more light? natural light?

That looks like the problem to me.
Humidify with damp perlite at the bottom of your chamber. If you want to fruit a huge cake like that its probably a good idea to keep damp verm on all sides of it to keep it from drying out.

Two main things cause that. Lack of light and high CO2 levels. You already know you aren't giving enough light, and I see no holes drilled into that terrarium for air exchange. I'd drill 50 to 75 quarter inch holes all over that thing, including the lid and bottom.
The perlite is drawing moisture out of your substrate, and the verm below is sucking it up. Read the procedures.

ok i´m a really n00b to this and have no idea what each of those things are, the cake is moist on my sides and the soil at the bottom is damp, i have grown in the same way in the same box before without these problems... the only difference is that in this room there is less o no natural light and i just leave my room light on.
could be anything to do with the way the cake was made? its really wierd its like 2,3 o 4 have joinded together but there is only one cap!? are they ok to eat?

They're fine to eat. Even if they're not pretty they're fine to eat.
You want perlite on the bottom of your chamber, not the 'dirt' or vermiculite or whatever you have down there.
Perlite is a white porous rock. It releases water into the air when its damp, humidifying it. You'll have much better results using perlite on the bottom.
Vermiculite is another rock that holds a lot of water. People like to put damp vermiculite around their cakes (creating a pseudo-casing) to help hold water in. Mushrooms are mostly water, so the more water, the bigger the mushrooms.
It looks like you have vermiculite on the bottom of the tub and perlite on top of your cake. What we're trying to say is that's backwards. Put the perlite on the bottom of the tub, and the damp vermiculite on your cake.

ok i am getting these cakes ready made and the guy gives me the vermiculite to put on the bottom. i have grown them in the same box 2 times before without these problems. are u saying that the more water in the box the better? the damper the vermiculite the better? these were set up 9 days ago at exactly the same time but one is much more advanced then the other? the last pic is the other cake. so should i move them to another room with more natural light?

What I'm saying is, do not put vermiculite on the bottom of your tub. Vermiculite is not for humidifying your fruiting chamber. If you're having results like this, you'll have great results doing it right.
Dampen some perlite by scooping pouring it in a strainer and running water over it. Toss a dash of h2o2 in it if you want, but its not necessary. Put about 3" or 4" of DAMP perlite, no standing water, on the bottom of your tub.
Then. Put dry vermiculite over your cake. And mist the crap out of it. This helps keep the cake from drying out.

jaja not really, so the stuff i have on the bottom i should actually be putting on the cake? the cake which comes ready made. he told me to seperate the cake from the bottom of the container with a glass as i have done and they are even growing out of the bottom. the bottom of the cake is actually dark in colour and looks like vermiculite...
with misiting is it ok to get the water directly on the shrooms? how often should i mist? the walls of my container are always very wet so i don´t mist very often in the last 9 days 3 times.
do you have any pics of what ur describing to me?

Dude, you're going to have to stop asking all these questions and spend some time reading. Read every single post going back 50 pages of this forum, and every single one of your questions will be answered several times, and you'll learn all about the hobby. You can do it in a few hours.
You're doing everything backwards, yet you keep asking how it's going to turn out. Nobody knows how because nobody does it like that. It's incorrect as etam just said. Please spend a few hours or even a few days reading, then come back with informed questions and we'll all try to help.
Nobody can tell you what strain that is. Mushrooms have tens of thousands of sexes, so many strains emerge from every squirt of spores. The name on the syringe is irrelevant.

as i keep saying these are READY MADE CAKES all i do is buy them and put them in a box. i have spent a lot of time reading this site but almost all of the questions are about making the casing or pinning or colonozing which i am not doing, not much about the really simple questions that i have been asking. As i have already planted and about to pick i don´t really have time to spend 2 days in this internet cafe reading up, the first thing i did was read through all the Q&A but it wasn´t much help.
in the next 50 pages will i find other pics with shroomes deformed as mine?

dont use READY MADE CAKES, or ready made cakes for that matter. Just use rye to spawn!!!!
