i dont see why it wouldn't work. The meat setting has got to be at least 15 psi. soon as is starts to steam the presure is up.

You're going to have to rig a thermometer to tell what the temperatures reach on both vegatable and meat settings.
You need to read the manual that cap with the cooker, and see what it says about psi

ive got one like that as well, the standard cooking time for meat is 15psi, youll be fine
