this is not the craziest ufo footage i have seen to date. it definitely looks like space debris to me.
i've seen quite a few UFO sightings from NASA feeds which are quite interesting indeed, but this is not one of them.

at the rate that they are moveing past that tether
being 12 miles or what ever long, there going like 7 miles a second.
For one, there is gravity in space.
Secondly the debris is near the camera, not the tether, therefore the speeds are MUCH slower than 7 miles a second. Probably about a meter per second at best.
So what do you weigh in space?

Logic, people. Logic. Learn it, use it, love it.
How can there be tons of stuff near earths orbit for a very long time when earth is moveing all the time and pulling all deprese in its gravitational pull toward it. So in other words once a debre gets to close to earth it will be burn or what ever in our atmosphere, space is really really empty if I am not mistaken but everything iv learned about space is just how empty it is.

You do realize that the moon is in orbit around the Earth because of gravity right? Orbit is merely a form of perpetual free fall which is counteracted by tangential motion. You don't weigh anyting in orbit because the centrifugal force due to rotational motion cancels out the force of gravity.
Elementary physics my dear watson.

Not to be an ass, but it is in a sense a UFO. We have all given UFO to mean alien spaceship with aliens in it. It only means unidentified flying object. And if I don't know what that object is, it's a UFO. Anything can be a UFO. What they call space debris used to be or still is an object of some sort. I can call the couch I threw out last week "space debris" because that's what it was to me. To another, if they had never seen a couch before in their life, might call it an unidentifiable object (not a flying one). And a third person might call it what it is, a couch.

you dont weigh anything because there isnt an object with a measurable amount of gravity, but since u are in propetual motion in space because ur on a planet going really fast once u leave the planet ur still moveing really fast just the planet is moveing at the same speed otherwise we would go in space and the planet would ditch us.
but we are caught in a slow slow spiral toward the sun, but im talking about general space and general otherwise you could just say oh yea well were also caught in the gravitational pull of other galaxies and say a true statement and still be useless.

Yes, that's technically true, but it seems that there's almost always an implication of alien intelligence when people talk about UFOs.

Please go read a physics book so I don't have to explain this stuff to you. There is gravity and the motion that matters with regards to orbit is tangential with relation to the Earth. The planet wouldn't ditch us because of gravity Seriously, this stuff is very elementary.

Definitely looks like debris to me. The strange lights that appear over phoenix from time to time are more interesting.

I'm not reading this thread but I will say that this was not the "Craziest UFO footage". The video was boring and it was not a UFO. It was space rocks.

Yea the moons trying to fly by the earth but just spinning around it cause theres just enough gravity to barly hold it there and since its holding it that now means that its real slowly pulling the moon toward it but so slow that it doesnt matter.
Are you tyring to tell me that if I turn my ship off its gonna get pulled toward the planet real fast unless i go into orbit.

Of course not but all signs do point to debris from the tether breaking. All you can do is look at the available evidence and make an intelligent conclusiion from that. There is absoutely no evidence that the specks of light are some sort of intelligently controlled space crafts.

So please i mean wtf we cant even go that fast NO ONE TALK ABOUT THIS ANYMORE ITS JUST BUGGING THE FUCK OUT OF ME
NO ONE POST MORE ABOUT ALIENS TILL YOU HAVE AT LEAST A 90% chance of there being aliens to share cause otherwise ur gonna make me watcha stupid fucken video crossing my fingers that every religon is going to be proven 100% wrong.

meter per second ok dude u dont know that for sure that there that close thats what this was about not fucken gravity anyway its hard to slow down in gravity adn that was the point u just love argueing but this isnt the otd.
I am on neither side of this argument but saysing that THEY ARE what they are when you cant 100% prove it is pointless
wich now brings me back to the bold part of what i said.

So... if there are aliens out there do you guys think they'd specially build hollywood looking circular crafts (UFO's) before coming to visit to help ease the tension a bit?

Seriously read a physics book because I'm not going to hold your hand an walk you through this stuff. Without sufficient tangential motion an object will be in free fall toward the center of the Earth and will fall out of orbit. It's as simple as that. It's the reason satellites in low Earth orbit require a source of fuel to keep them in orbit.

The astronaut said that the debris was flying with them, which means it is close to the ship, which means it's not moving very fast.
