Chemical for testing shrooms?

Hey everyone
I have seen on a few posts / guides them talking about a certain photography chemical that when you put a chunk of mushroom in it, wait a while and if it turns blue it is a magic mushroom, kinda like a pregnancy test: "CONGRADULATIONS! You're TRIPPING!"
What is the name of that chemical again? And does it work? Easy to get?

I think you misunderstood.. what you need to do is bruise the mushroom - give it a minute or so and it should change colour to a greeny/bluey sorta thing. This test alone is not enough to determine its safety so be careful - I believe the galerinas bruise black. Please post a picture before ingesting anything you find or at least visit http://mjshroomer.yage.net for more info.

I think you can purchase some chemicals that can speed up the bruising reaction. But sometimes it's not needed.

it's called paper chromatography. you can check it out at erowid.org they have something about testing for LSD there...

No, its not chromatography that I'm talkin about (although it would be interesting to find out about TLC'ing shrooms - eg where is the psilocybe band? And what chemicals to use?
But the chemical I was talking about is one I have seen mentioned in several posts which I can't find again.
It is a photo used in photography (dont know exactly what for) and they said something like you mix it 20:1 with water and then put a chunk of a suspected psilocybe mushroom in it, and after like 30 mins or something the water goes blue.
WHAT IS THE NAME OF THIS CHEMICAL???
