done on may 25th, 5 days ago.

incubated with l33tness at only 83 degrees

first sign of life.



also, i got a question. that's the first jar out of 11 with life. some have like, what looks like a ring of moisture around the glass. also, the others that are going, like... where i injected them the content (PF Tek) is like, darker than where i didn't inject. i'm assuming that's just growth starting, but it has no moisture ring around the jar.

so... in that confusing paragraph ... i wanna know, am i fucked?

or is it just the starting of life?

I didnt fully understand what you were asking but 83 degrees is a good temp..its usually a little warmer in the jars...give it some more time no need to worry unless you see something other then white growing in there..if you did it all right...you'll be fine

You don`t need to grind that rice further.
Why is everyone on this site governed by grow guides.
Experiment yourself a bit.
I use whole brown rice with vermiculite and it`s colonising faster than the brf.
So it`s all a matter of choice.
If your temp. is right and your humidity is up, just wait.
It`ll happen.

also, when incubating, does it need the humidity as well? or just the heat?

well, i checked it after my last post, and before i went to work. looks like just about every jar is starting to grow now i think only one is contaminated, just not sure yet so i'm not going to do nothing about it at this moment. we'll see by the time i get off work.
