How accurate are the "window of opportunity" estimates for modern drug tests?

Here's the deal. For the past few months, I'd smoke maybe 1-2 times a month. however, there has been about a 5 week period, where I smoked 2-3 times a week for the first 3 weeks, and then about 4 times a week for the last 2. My last time smoking was last Saturday, 9 days ago. I may have a drug test this coming Friday (all sorts of crap going on for my ROTC scholarship). What are my chances here? I'm 6'5", 260lbs, so I've get quite a bit of fat on me too, if that's an issue here. Also, I have been drinking lots of water to flush out my system, and been having some moderate exercise as well.
Erowid says that for daily use, it'll last from 7-30 days, and weekly use would be 3-9 days, so I assume I would be in the middle there, maybe 5-18 days?

iffy. i think you should do whatever you can to get it pushed back. you'll have less of a problem for missing a drug test appointment than for failing it.
when was this 5 week period?
i've known folks (some military) who swore they were going to fail a pot test and came up clean. it would be better if you found an excuse to buy yourself some more time though.

Seems like I already found an excuse, I lost the god damn papers that had all the info on who to call and where to go (I'm supposed to set up the appointment). This just being for the scholarship, I'm not under military law as it is. I was supposed to schedule the appointment for this Friday, but without a number or address, I can't really do that. Either way, a bunch of people I taked to recently said I'd probably be disqualified due to having a shitty knee.
If the military claims to need new recruits so bad, why don't they just drop their god damn anti-pot regulation? Argh... That's the government for you...

The federal government needs to make it clear that they do not tolerate illegal drug use, thats why.

Water isn't going to flush THC out of your system. THC is fat soluble. No fat to store it in, no THC. Tons of fucking exercise, but you don't want to be running miles right before you go in and piss, or it'll all come pouring out, right into that cup.
Water is good for your body, though, and will probably assist in the basic functions of your body that will provide for your ability to burn off THC.

THC has a solubility in water of about 1-2 ug/mL. That's why you have to drink a lot of water. It's much more soluable in alcohol, so you might even try drinking to help clean yourself out.
THC is fat soluable, but if it was totally insoluable in water then you wouldn't really have to worry about it coming out in your pee.
Another thing you might try is giving plasma. I'm not sure how plams-bound THC is, but being fat soluable I would imagine that there is a good bit of it in plasma. Giving plasma saves lives, and you even get paid for it. I think it's also good to get your blood cleaned out every once in awhile.

Giving plasma makes me want to puke and feel like shit for like 12 hours after it... After I did it the first time in college and went out drinking... just a regular night of drinking but I swear worst hangover in my life.
Edit: Also interesting note for conversation to add, I was contacted by a military recruiter a few times after the last census here in my neighborhood, to get him off my back I said "I've got drug convictions you don't want me." and he proceeded to say there was still opportunities for me in the Army etc. I told him why would anyone think of working for the government that imprisoned them for nonviolent personal choices? Anyways our conversation quickly ended and I never heard from him again. If one EVER calls you don't return call or even answer they will hound for a while.
