Storing a spore syringe until i need to use it

Ok, i recently ordered a spore syringe, but now im moving! i may not be able to grow for awhile. and where im moving mushrooms are plentiful in the fall anyway.. so i probably wont get around to growing till winter or next spring.

will the spores last that long? how should i store the needle? does it matter?

im a newbie, so i dont know whats up, i hope my questions aren't too stupid

keep it out of the light, and away from hot temps. and you should be fine!

spore syringes can last a realy long time, up too a few years....
i read a post not to long ago about a guy using a spore syringe that was 3 years old and it worked fine.

A Friend of mine just used an old spore syringe (Equadors) that he had sitting around for a little over a year...and now he is in the act of harvesting his first flush So you should be ok

thanks a lot guys! i just wanted to make sure i wasnt gonna loose my spores if i let em sit around..

is the needle supposed to be just a clear liquid with a few brown things floating in it?

Yeah that's right. there're plenty of spores in there so don't worry. When i make mine there dark but thats overkill really
