it will probably straighten him out.

I've found mushrooms have made me gone from an extremely un-organised person to a very organised person.

As long as he chills out he'll be good :grin:

It is actually is a very good idea. There is a story of a woman with OCD, and her adventure to find a cure. After trying everything else for some reason got the idea to try mushrooms and they cured her. The University of Arizona down here in Tucson did a study recently with psilocybin that determined that it relieves symptoms of OCD for up to a week with rather small doses. I imagine that doses that induce hallucinations would alleviate those symptoms on an even greater scale. That said it'd be a great idea.

Shrooms help me with my OCD sometimes...other times they make it worse. Either way the effects are short lived, but over time they become more noticeable as you trip more. I know over the past few years I have had trips that helped me see into some of my OC's and get past them...

I wouldnt say that the drug actually provided me with relief (although it may have, I cant discount that), but I know my mind helped figure out how to relieve itself...and that wouldnt have happened without the drug.

I used to have a terrible case of OCD last year....it came out of no where and it was a fucking TRAIN WRECK for me. I'd spend all day inside and when I did go out, I'd freak out and take hour long showers.


So after smoking ganja occasionaly, that seemed to help a little bit. Only when I tripped for my first time in years, I finally felt comfortable NOT washing my hands...laying in the dirt in the back yard staring at the beautifully lit night sky.

If anything, they'll improve his outlook on getting rid of his disposition if he's willing to.

When I am sober I am a completely "normal" person. At least in the terms of OCD. But sometimes I get OCD while I am tripping. This is what caused my one and only bad trip and it was horrible. Just going through cycles of turning the lights on and then off and then on but wiat I want them off. Then I'd go through I need a blanket, then take ti off over and over. Very very strange.
