Scarred up myco bag

I put my mycobag into a terrarium on a plate of verm. I just recently flipped it over and double end cased it. The reason I birthed it wass cause it had all these aborts that weren't growing. Also it is really blue. Should I cut of the outside layer of the cake to allow new primordia to form? It seems as if it is "scarred" .let me know

Why did you take it out of the bag? Was this the first flush?

Sounds to me like the cake is just drying out. Try misting it a few times very lightly and wait a couple days.

I also have a MycoBag that is finally beginning to fruit (Maza's). Mine sounds very similar tho... 7 or 8, 1"-2", VERY thin pins that are stalled and beginning to abort.

Keep us posted on how this turns out for you.
