Hello all

a friend of mine sent me some shrooms today [dried]
that are of his own cultivation.

Those are supposed to be Equador species.

Although all of their characteristics seem to be allright,
there is a question about their color.

The stems [body] color ranges from:
pure 100% white -> pale cyan -> blueish -> greyblue

no spots.

please can someone identify if blueish color is normal to
psylocybe equador shrooms?

the blue color is more than likely bruising, which is a basic characteristic of psilocybe mushrooms....they're probably fine.

bluing happens a little during drying on some strains and happens when cut or bruise the flesh of the mushies.

Its psilocybin oxidizing into psilocin i think. Maybe its the other way around. Completely normal tho
