What if

You kept taking prints of the largest shrooms growing them, then taking the largest of those shrooms, printing them, grow em, take the print of the largest and then grow em. Then repeated this process a thousand times. Would you be able to make prints that would make only the largest shrooms? Heredity ya know?

Im not the most knowledgable when it comes to cloning but im pretty sure that wont work...

now, if you took tissue from the largest fruit, and grew it out on agar, and then inoculated substrate with this agar, and then take tissue from the biggest fruite and grew it out on agar... etc....etc...
then i think it would work, but the strain would eventualy degenerate.

but im not completley sure on this, i just started to read about genetics.
