These Blue Oyster mushrooms have stopped growing for the past several days, but I see no signs of spores. Can someone tell me based on the picture when I can expect spores? I hope I didn't end up with a sporeless variety somehow - the culture I bought (from a Shroomery sponsor) didn't say anything about being sporeless.
Also, the pins growing out of the other hole - are these aborts or should they grow 2nd flush?
You'll need to print a mushroom on foil. After 24 hours of printing, you should see a nice a spore print on the foil. I doubt you have a sterile strain there, but you never know. Oyster mushrooms are kind of "sporey". If that's even a word.
I think the humidity needs to be a little higher. If the mushroom becomes too dry before spore production, it will not drop spores. If it has developed spores and becomes dry, it will drop them prematurely, and fewer spores will result.
