1) I think salvia boosts your 'mood' or your positive vibration levels way up, even after once smoking it let alone smoking daily.... so in a sense you reach a new plateau or level on conciousness... if you feel comfortable in this new mind state then you can stay there indefinately (or go even higher..)... if you feel you are not ready then your mood will drop back to baseline where you feel most comfortable existing.
2) lol its funny that you say its accidental... but i know what you mean... you just don't expect to be hearing voices or even seeing "people", especially since the transition from sober reality to salvia-hyperspace is so sudden. I have had my share of really bizarre and most excellent encounters with salvia 'beings'.... but I yet have to answer the question whether these higher vibrational beings exist external to my conciousness or if my brain is creating these convincing hallucinations all in my head,.and they appear to be real to me... how can you find out?

well, I've never actually experienced the salvia beings. But I can say that at times I have felt everything outside me and maybe my dog and girlfriend, might infact be hallucinations of my tripped out mind. The problem with this logic is it's impossible to prove or disprove.
smoking salvia, or doing any pyschedelic, by definition causes temporary pyschosis. I would venture to say that unless you are begining to talk with these beings when you are not high, you are probably ok.

You can talk to your self and your self can talk to you when on Salvia. Usually my mind doesn't create images of things I'm talking with(depending of the dosage) but the voices come frome back from my head. It feels very schizo but doesn't last. Maybe you can learn from it. The mood boost is really nice.

Yeah, the mood boost is wonderful. I smoke salvia just about every other day. I stay so fascinated with this herb because it is never the same thing more than one time. The possibilities are endless. I have come to know many things that I would have overlooked if it wernt for salvia.

Salvia has a handful of properties that help battle depression (usually in the coming days after using Salvia), so that "uplifting" feeling is probably just a carried out effect. Plus with regular use I imagine it becomes harder for one to fall back to a completely "normal" psychological state. While you are feeling pretty normal, there's still the more subdued effects coursing their way through your mind and emotions. I know that I skipped right out of a depression after my last Salvia trip.

Lawl at using salvia every other day. Salvia hasn't been researched enough to be safe it could turn out detrimental to your health/mental health. Psychedellics aren't meant to be used so frequently show some respect it's sacred to some people.
