Yep, thats how i do it.

Low heat to mediums-low.

Let it cook. Then fold it. Let it cook more, then flip.

you can defiantly improve your omelets with a nice low heat. Make sure you're using a good non-stick pan and that the pan has a diameter that you expect from an omelet.

a good low and slow heat and lifting the edges up and letting the liquid pour under helps also. If you really wanna get the technique down for making an omelet go get a couple dozen eggs. It should cost less than 4 buck. Start crackin eggs and making basic egg omelets with no ingredients. As soon as you mess up empty out your pan and re-oil it and start on another one. You'll pick it up quick and if you don't want to waste the eggs I guess you could store them in the fridge untill you're hungry or just throw em out.

To flip, or not to flip?
Some people use 2 skillets, they cook in skillet A,
then when ready to flip, they flip into skillet B.

But really all you need is a good non stick skillet, and
a good spraying of Pam.

I had the same problem until a little while ago. I just cooked all my veggies and whatever i put in it in the pan, then pour in the eggs usually 3, let that cook till there is very little egg that runs on the top if you know what i mean, then i flip it and cook for a few more mins then presto shes done.

Honestly, we usually use 5-7 eggs which is the main reason you cant flip them.

3 eggs is the most I can do, to flip an omellette.
