I found some shrooms growing in woodchips, quite abundantly. They are brown, thin stems. I'm in West Australia, someone help me out

I'm 100% sure that they are Coprinus micaceus.

They are LBM (Little Brown Mushrooms)

hehe yer sorry, i was at school when i posted that - thats where i found them
anyway, they are thin stemmed, with a light brown to white when larger. i dont think there is anything special to identify them with - the caps are brown, little and cute, i think the shape of the cap is more like P.Australiana than P. Subuaerag thingummy. they dont stain blue.
if anyone can tell me for sure that theyre not poisonous, i will eat them.

another look reveals that they have golden brown spots on the tip of the cap. they bruise black.

Generally Australiana has an orange gold cap, wavy margin and small sharp nipple.

With the decription you gave(briuses black), it sounds like you found Galerinas. These mushrooms are deadly do not eat them.
