So what's with those hydro-pod thingies?
    #649845 - 05/28/02 03:27 PM (21 years, 10 months ago)

I'm just wondering if those things are worth the money, and if anyone out there that has one recommends it. I have no idea what im doing when it comes to growing shrooms.

Desktop Model... [Re: Anno]
    #650433 - 05/29/02 12:56 AM (21 years, 10 months ago)

Does anyone here own and use the Desktop model of the Hydra-Pod?? I'm gonna be ordering two next month and just wondered if anyone has one? Most of the pics in the forums are of the Advanced model.

Thanks!

Love & Light,

Boppity

i am also going to buy the desktop version. i believe it is exactly the same as the advanced pod with more cultivation room and less work. the advanced version has temp. controls and what not.

Assuming the Pod is kept at room temp, as it has no heating system, it is almost self-reliant. You need to add a cup of water every two weeks or so.

Some here say it's a rip-off because you can make a terrarium soooo much cheaper. They are right, but for the newbie (like myself) the Pod takes the guesswork out of it. Just birth the cakes into it and it does the rest.

Buy one!
